Two police officers in Florida were escorting Santa and Mrs. Claus to a tree lighting at a mall on Saturday night.  And as the cops were leaving . . . they also busted four people for shoplifting.

Police: Daytona officers spreading holiday cheer bust shoplifters

Two Daytona officers escorting Santa and Mrs. Claus to a tree-lighting ceremony did more than just help spread holiday cheer.They busted four shoplifters, including a minor, they came upon in the Tanger Outlets mall parking lot as they were heading back out on patrol, officials said.According to Daytona Beach police spokeswoman Lyda Longa, officers Joe Evans and Courtney Wooleyhan were asked to escort Santa and Mrs.
