A man from India was found with three venomous cobras under the seat of his scooter.  It’s alleged that he was smuggling them since cobras are a protected species and poachers go after them for their skin and venom.  The man was suspected of participating in poaching activities in a nearby forest.

Wildlife officials recorded video of authorities making the hidden cobra discovery.

Oct. 23 (UPI) -- An alleged smuggler in India was found with three venomous cobras hidden under the seat of his motor scooter. A video recorded by wildlife officials in Bandipur, Karnataka, shows what authorities found when they stopped the man and searched his scooter.
