Bands and musicians with their own beer/liquor brands is very on trend, but another beverage venture that’s been very popular in recent years has been rockers launching their own coffee brands.

Just how popular is coffee in the rock community?  Here are five bands/musicians with their own coffee brands.

Korn

The latest to join the coffee craze is Korn with their brand called Korn Koffee, because if they actually spelled coffee with a “C,” that would be just weird.

Kirk Hammett

The Metallica guitarist partnered with Dark Matter coffee to create his special blend called Ghoul Screamer likely due to his horror film fandom.

Dave Ellefson

The Megadeth bassist launched his Ellefson Coffee Co. a few years ago, and in addition to selling a variety of different roasts, Ellefson also sells different coffee edibles like chocolate-covered espresso beans dubbed “Atomic Rocks.”

Joey Kramer

Aerosmith’s drummer has had a lot of success with his Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffee brand, and even though his own coffee shop only lasted a year, fans can still buy his brew through a subscription service at RockinAndRoastin.com.

Green Day

Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt launched Oakland Coffee Works in 2015.  In addition to the coffee itself, there’s a line of merch as well, including this t-shirt Tre Cool sported recently along with some fetching platform boots.  He's about as hot as a fresh cup of (Billie) Joe, amiright?

BONUS:  Folgers

Wait...why is Folgers listed?  They’re not a band! No, but Paul Stanley did film an awful TV commercial for the coffee brand once. While it was never aired, it did make its way to YouTube, and any excuse to share the cheesy ad is a good excuse.  Enjoy!
