Dave Mustaine celebrates his birthday today (September 13), and like many rock musicians, Mustaine and Megadeth have added to their portfolio by launching their own beer brand.

In honor of Mustaine’s birthday, we recognize Megadeth and some of the bands with their own beer brands.  Cheers!

Megadeth – À TOUT LE MONDE ale

Megadeth’s À TOUT LE MONDE is a Belgian style ale and brewed in Quebec.  Fans can find a retailer or bar selling À TOUT LE MONDE at

Next round is on me - short version

Dave Mustaine and Jerry Vietz, Unibroue Brewmaster, have co-created a new beer À tout le monde. Discover this Belgian-style refermented Saison.

Def Leppard – Def Leppard Pale

Def Leppard teamed up with Seattle-based brewery Elysian Brewing for the release of Def Leppard Pale, a 6% ABV Pale Ale available on draft and in 16 oz. cans at most venues and at various restaurants and bars near each venue during their tour with Journey.

DEF LEPPARD PALE - Available This Summer!

Two fanatics of their craft, Def Leppard and Elysian Brewing have joined forces to bring you a one-of-a-kind beer, Def Leppard Pale - a collision of legendary British ale with Northwest hops. Elysian Brewing's Founder, Joe Bisacca, got together with the band to brew the beer in a unique way.

Queen – Bohemian Lager

When “Bohemian Rhapsody” celebrated its 40th anniversary, the band celebrated by issuing not only its own beer but its own brand of vodka, too.

Iron Maiden – Trooper Ale

Probably the most successful beer on this list, Trooper gained popularity by word-of-mouth alone.  Robinson’s Brewery, who produces the ale, didn’t spend a dime on any advertising when the label first launched.

Motorhead – Road Crew

The latest Motorhead beer label is this American pale ale.

Pearl Jam – Faithfull Ale

Call it a hunch, but we doubt Pearl Jam fans can’t find a better ale.  (Get it?!)

Quick Sip Clips by Dogfish Head: Faithfull

For our latest music-inspired collaboration, we brewed a fruit-forward golden ale to celebrate Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary.

Metallica-Branded Budweiser

Alright…so this is technically not a band beer like the others, but how cool is that packaging?!
