After her sudden and shocking death in January, the cause of death of Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan has been confirmed by the Westminster Coroner’s Court.

Per BBC News, the coroner’s report determined O’Riordan “died by drowning due to alcohol intoxication.”  O’Riordan was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Park Lane Hilton in London. While there were prescription drug bottles found in the hotel, the toxicology report showed that those drugs were only present at “therapeutic” levels, but O’Riordan’s blood alcohol content was more than four times the legal driving limit.

The coroner concluded O’Riordan’s death was a “tragic accident” and that there were no signs of self-harm or any other injuries.
