CHICAGO – OCTOBER 17: A ghoul-ish mask is displayed at the Fantasy Costumes HDQ. store October 17, 2003 in Chicago, Illinois. Halloween, the day normally observed with dressing up in disguise, trick-or-treating, and displaying jack-o-lanterns during the evening is only two weeks away on October 31. A 22 year-old tattoo artist from Columbia that goes by the name Kalaca Skull has spent the last two years getting extreme body modifications to make him look like a living skull.

He's removed half his nose, cut off his ears, split and tattooed his tongue amongst other procedures.  All the modifications are his own "personal decisions." He's always been fascinated by skulls since a very young age but never acted on getting any body modifications while his mother was alive. Since her passing he began going through with his skull transformation.

(Not sure what they're saying, but here is a video someone posted on Facebook at his tattoo studio.)
