LAS VEGAS, NV - OCTOBER 15: Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Zacky Vengeance performs during the 48 Hours Festival October 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

C’mon Avenged Sevenfold fans, where you at?

Teased by bassist Johnny Christ back in May, A7x have been working on a song for a video game, and that game is ‘Call of Duty 4.’  The band has previously done a song for the Call of Duty franchise, so it’s great to see that they are still a hot pick for the game.

He had said at the time, quoted by Loudwire:

“The song’s written, we’re recording it right now. We just took a break in the studio of recording it this last week. We’re gonna finish it up this coming week, and then it’ll go off to get mixed and mastered. And I believe sometime in July is when everyone will be hearing it for the first time.”

Seems like the song came later than anticipated but we’re excited none the less.
