An 18-year-old junior firefighter near Pittsburgh was arrested on Monday for setting a building on fire, just so he could help put it out.  Luckily no one was hurt, but he caused $150,000 in damages, and he’s facing three felony charges.

Teenage firefighter who 'just wanted to respond to a fire' allegedly set Brackenridge home ablaze

An 18-year-old firefighter with the Pioneer Hose Company is accused of setting fire to a home in Brackenridge on Monday afternoon. Patrick Gillis is charged with arson and other offenses after the fire that destroyed a house on the 800 block of 7th Avenue, according to the criminal complaint.
