African safari guide stops charging elephant with his hand

A game ranger in South Africa saved a couple on their honeymoon from being trampled to death by stopping a charging bull elephant.

The game ranger stops the bull elephant in its tracks by raising his hand.  He had to stop the elephant three different times and a portion of the encounter was captured on video and posted to Facebook.
