NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 02: Soundgarden performs at Citi Presents Exclusive Soundgarden Performance Celebrating 20th Anniversary of 'Superunknown' at Webster Hall on June 2, 2014 in New York City; CHICAGO, IL - AUGUST 02: Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails performs during Lollapalooza 2013 at Grant Park on August 2, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois.

Not one, but two outstanding and influential albums were released on March 8, 1994:  Soundgarden’s Superunknown and Nine Inch NailsThe Downward Spiral.

Both albums provided landmark moments in each band’s career and helped catapult them to a new level of success, and to this day, they sound as fresh and revolutionary as the day they were released.
