This week has been filled with lots of new music news, and it just keeps coming thanks to the latest from Three Days Grace.

The band announced that their sixth studio album Outsider will out March 9 and gave fans a first glimpse of what to expect with its first single and video for “The Mountain.”

In a recent conversation with WRIF’s Meltdown, vocalist Matt Walst expressed how happy he is with the end product, especially his own vocal performance:

“I think we did a really good job.  I think it’s a lot better than our last album, which is what we’re always going for…My vocal performance on this record, I think it’s the best I’ve done in my career.  I got to do the vocal with a producer called Howard Benso, and he is known for his vocal production, and he’s super talented with harmonies.  I just think there’s a lot more, and I think the album is a lot more diverse than the last album.”

Outsider is currently available for pre-order here.
