According to a new article, there’s a growing trend in China called “cat-sniffing,” where you bury your head in their fur and basically huff their scent.
In China there is a large population of “empty nest youth” which are single or unmarried people that live alone in major cities. Many of which have began raising cats or have an obsession with online cats. The obsession becomes so big that they have to check in online on their favorite online cats multiple times a day, some cat online fan pages have over 30 million followers, and those that are raising their own cats obsessively sniff and cuddle their pet usually multiple times a day as well. Some claim that if they don’t get their “fix” they feel terrible!
