He had contracted African Salmonella and it left him in agony when it caused his genitals to swell up to at least 10 times the normal size. He said: "After the holiday, my testicle had swollen to the size of a grapefruit and it was so heavy it was like it was made of glass."
He says that his left testicle eventually exploded "like a volcano" when he went to take a bath. David is now pursuing legal action against the resort he stayed at.
