LAS VEGAS, NV - OCTOBER 15: Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Zacky Vengeance performs during the 48 Hours Festival October 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Avenged Sevenfold is drumming up a little promotion for its new, surprise acoustic live album with a video for its performance of “Roman Sky.”

The song is included on Avenged Sevenfold Live at the Grammy Museum, which came out Friday (December 8) after being announced just a couple of days before. The release is intended to celebrate A7X’s first-ever Grammy Award nomination — Best Rock Song for the title track from its latest album, The Stage — and also includes performances of the Rolling Stones‘ “As Tears Go By” along with band favorites “Hail To The King,” “Exist” and “So Far Away.”

A portion of the proceeds from the surprise release “will benefit the educational initiatives of the GRAMMY Museum, which seek to inspire youth to the enduring qualities and cultural significance of music.”

The GRAMMYs will be presented on January 28 in New York, while A7X begins a North American headlining tour on January 12 in Nashville, with Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine opening. The group is also release a deluxe, expanded edition of The Stage on December 22.
