So I was a little behind here, and I saw it and was hoping that it wasn’t a fan trailer.
It is NOT! Thank goodness.
According to Gizmodo, the story is that Batman, his family of Robin’s and whatnot, Alfred, and some of Gotham’s most evil criminals are somehow transported to Medival Japan.
The director of the anime, Jumpei Mizusaki is hoping that he can show how Japan sees Batman as a character, not the other way around.
Not going to lie, without subtitles I have ZERO idea what’s going on, but on the art alone, I can tell this is one I’m going to be dying to see, and it will hopefully be on CrunchyRoll. As of right now, ‘Batman Ninja’ will be released in stores on DVD and Blu-Ray in 2018.
