SAN FRANCISCO - JULY 24: Bottles of Diet Coke are chilled in a cooler before the start of the baseball game with the San Francisco Giants and the Atlanta Braves at AT&T Park July 24, 2007 in San Francisco, California. A study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association states that drinking diet soda can increase the risk of "metabolic syndrome," a contributor to heart disease and diabetes, by 48 percent. A talk show in Australia was doing a feature where some guy pours liquid nitrogen into a bottle of Coke, which turns it into a shooting rocket.  And then he persuades one of the co-hosts to “give it a go.”She reluctantly grabs the bottle as he pours the nitrogen, and when it explodes it shoots by within inches of her face.
