SCHOENEFELD, GERMANY – NOVEMBER 04: Two workers stand on the tarmac next to the main arrivals and departures hall of the unfinished BER Willy Brandt Berlin Brandenburg International Airport on November 4, 2014 in Schoenefeld, Germany. According to media reports November 17, 2014, Brandenburg State Finance Minister Christian Goerke stated that an opening of the new airport is possible for 2017. The airport, originally scheduled to open in 2011, has been plagued by a massive design flaw in its fire safety system, cost overruns, delays and most recently a bribery scandal. The footage is from pretty far away, but you can see him get hit and fall backward. Luckily he survived, but did end up with severe burns to his hands, feet, and chest. He just left the hospital on Tuesday, almost two weeks after it happened.
