Foo Fighters will continue the campaign to pique interest in its upcoming new album Concrete And Gold, this weekend in Chicago.

The group has announced a club date for Friday (August 4) at Chicago’s Metro club; The show has already sold out, but it’s spurred some rumors that the Foos will make a surprise appearance at Lollapalooza, which is taking place this weekend in Chicago’s Grant Park. Neither the Foos nor festival organizers have commented on those reports, however.

Concrete And Gold, the group’s ninth studio album, is due out September 15; The Foos have already released the first single, “Run,” and played several of the album tracks during recent concerts in Europe.

The Foos’ North American tour kicks off October 7 at Cal Jam in San Bernardino, Calif.
