Chris Cornell would’ve celebrated his 53rd birthday today (July 20), and frankly, it still feels weird to refer to the singer in the past tense.
For a singer that was so present, it’s still difficult to come to grips with the fact that a vocal force that powerful is gone.
Considering his talent, influence and the sudden nature of his passing, it’s no surprise that so many paid tribute to the gifted singer/songwriter. In honor of his birthday, here is a selection of some of our favorite tributes.
Ann Wilson – “Black Hole Sun”
The Pretty Reckless – “Like A Stone”
Living Colour – “Blow Up The Outside World”
Stone Sour – “Outshined”
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Seasons”
