Aircraft are also part of the mystery. In 1950, the Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 2501 with 55 passengers and three crew members was flying from New York to Minneapolis. But, the flight disappeared from radar, and the pilot had asked to descend to 2500 due to the crazy turbulence. The pilot’s request could not be granted, and it never reached its destination.
