LOS ANGELES, CA - JANUARY 14: Musician Lemmy Kilmister and Kat Von D attend Audi presents The Art of Elysium's 5th annual HEAVEN at Union Station on January 14, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

During the flood of reality tattoo cable shows that were seemingly everywhere during the 2000s, a number of musicians appeared on said shows, and one of the best cameos came via the late, great Lemmy Kilmister on TLC’s L.A. Ink.

The Motorhead frontman stopped by artist Kat Von D’s shop to have two old, faded tattoos touched up and brought back to life.  Our favorite was the way Von D was able to touch up Lemmy’s Ace of Spades/”Born To Lose, Live To Win” tattoo.

More than anything, this clip serves as a reminder of how much Lemmy and his spirit are missed in the rock world.  He was truly one of a kind.
