Some new fast facts about Josh Homme and his Queens of the Stone Age bandmates are part of a new group of trading cards the group is releasing to promote its upcoming album “Villains.”

The five cards each feature special artwork, photos, and facts about the band members; Homme’s card, for instance, reveals that “plaid” is his favorite color and that he “once pulled up next to an elderly woman holding grocery bags at a bus stop and asked in his smoothest voice ‘What’s in the bag, lady?'”

“Villains” is due out August 25; It was produced by Mark Ronson, and QOTSA has released the first single, “The Way You Used To Do,” so far.

The group begins a tour to support the album on July 13 in New Zealand, with North American dates starting September 6 in Port Chester, N.Y.
