Trent Reznor Unveils NIN EP Trilogy Plans
It looks like there will be some new Nine Inch Nails music for the summer.
In an online post to fans, Trent Reznor wrote that, “Did you know there’s a new top-secret Nine Inch Nails EP that will be released before the first shows we do this summer? Did you know that ‘Not The Actual Events’ was the first part of a trilogy of related EPs that will be released about 6-8 months apart? Now you do. More information on this shortly.
Not The Actual Events came out in December, featuring five new songs written by Reznor and his regular composing partner Atticus Ross.
Nine Inch Nails has three festival shows booked for the summer — the FYF Festival on July 23 in Los Angeles, the Panorama Festival on July 30 in New York and Riot Fest on Sept. 15 in Chicago.
Reznor and Ross have also composed score music for Ken Burns‘ upcoming documentary on The Vietnam War and for the HBO documentary The Defiant Ones.
