Tinder Vs. Bumble: Which Is Better?

Digital technology is continuously evolving. It shapes the ways we communicate with others, carry out our job functions and even form romantic relationships.

But trying to find your soulmate is work- let's face it. Even with the click of a button on a smartphone.

For some, going out to a club or bar to meet others and being set up on blind dates aren't always successful.

Let's be real, we are all looking for the "one" whether we prefer to meet him or her in person or turn to online dating.

Some people are shy or introverted and would rather get to know their potential significant other over an app. Others find themselves too caught up in their family matters, social life and career to have time to actually meet someone face-to-face.

That's why dating apps, like Tinder and Bumble, exist and are on the rise. The idea is to make it more convenient to find someone similar to you or start a relationship with.

Are you single? Feeling lonely? Ready to mingle? And unfamiliar with popular dating apps? Here's all you need to know about Tinder and Bumble.

Both Tinder and Bumble allow you to swipe your way to love, but Bumble differs in one BIG way: The girl must start the conversation. Clever, right?

Tinder's members comprise mostly of men, while on Bumble, the girl to boy ratio is fairly equal.

The range of people varies greatly on Tinder. You'll meet highly-successful people, candidates with no future, and the cute girl who lives in your hometown whereas, on Bumble, you get the total package, marriage-material candidates. Both men and woman are more inclined to look for something casual on Tinder but on Bumble, more women are looking to meet that special someone for the long haul.

Since the user pool on Bumble is less than Tinder, finding your life-long partner can take a lot longer.

With both apps, you pay absolutely nothing. However, you can open an account if you want to upgrade your options, which supposedly helps you meet more people and have a greater chance at finding the "right" person.

Tinder is the most popular dating app in the country. 60% of all matches on Bumble result in a conversation, according to Bumble founders.

Use of online dating sites or apps by young adults has nearly tripled since 2013.

Which do you think is a better fit for you? Tinder or Bumble?
