Florida Man Arrested For Impersonating Nickelback Drummer

At a time when most people seem to want to distances themselves from, or at least diss, Nickelback, maybe it's oddly positive that there's someone out there that wants to BE the band.

Port St. Lucie, Fla. police have arrested Lee Harvey Koenig, aka Mr. Wooky, for impersonating Nickelback drummer Daniel Adair and ordering $25,000 in musical equipment under Adair's name from a company in Austria. The company contacted Adair's camp, which confirmed he had not made the purchase, and police arrested Koenig on Tuesday (February 28) on fraud charges. Koenig is free on $18,750 bond.

It's not Koenig's first fraud charge; He was convicted to three years in jail for a $78,000 scam in 2007.

Adair and Nickelback, meanwhile, are readying for the June 9 release of their new album, Feed The Machine, and a North American tour that stars June 23 in Noblesville, Ind.
