Chris Jericho Was In On A7X’s Secret Album The Whole Time

Remember how Chris Jericho posted a photo to Instagram about a new Avenged Sevenfold called Voltaic Oceans?  Turns out it was all part of the plan to gain buzz/throw fans off the scent of A7X’s actual new album The Stage.

The rocker/wrestler detailed it all on the newest episode of his podcast Talk Is Jericho, and apparently, he pitched his fake album and release date idea to M. Shadows, who told him the band were planning a surprise release.  Shadows loved the idea, and the rest is history.

ICYMI: Eddie Vedder Sings “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”

Eddie Vedder must’ve brought his beloved Chicago Cubs some good luck during last night’s Game 5 of the World Series.  The Pearl Jam singer led Cubs fans at Wrigley Field in singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch. (Check out the clip below.)  The Cubs were able to extend the World Series with a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Indians.  The Indians currently lead the series 3-2.
