In Other Rock News…(August 23rd)

Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Evanescence make up the August 23rd edition of "In Other Rock News..."  Enjoy!

Sabbath Ticket Forger Arrested

No one really likes ticket scalpers.  They jack up the price to no end and are just viewed as unethical.  So, when we heard that some idiot was producing fake Black Sabbath tickets and selling them, you can understand why we’re so damn happy right now.

Shannon Michael Seeber was arrested in Howard County, Maryland recently and charged with theft scheme, forgery and possession of false identification in connection to selling fake Sabbath tickets to the band’s August 21st show in Bristow, Va.  A drug charge was also included among the ticket bust, because every dirtbag sundae needs a cherry on top.

Upon arrest, Seeber was also in possession of fake tickets for Drake, Adele and Barbara Streisand, so it’s nice to see he didn’t discriminate against duping fans of a variety of music genres.

Megadeth are getting a “gold star” for safety after stopping a recent show in Paraguay after fans broke through the barricades and glass bottles being thrown at the stage.
