Joe Perry’s Collapse Makes More Sense After Hearing About His Schedule

Steven Tyler had a point when he said Joe Perry’s schedule with the Hollywood Vampires was too grueling.

Alice Cooper recently spoke with Rolling Stone about Perry’s collapse and hospitalization last month during a show in New York.  Cooper said, “Aerosmith does two shows a week, but we were on our eighth show is nine days, and I’m used to working like that.”

The added kicker?  Cooper says that Perry told him he hadn’t eaten in two days the night he fell ill.

Yeah…pretty much anyone would’ve passed out under those circumstances.

The great news is that Cooper dispelled those heart attack/cardiac arrest rumors saying that doctors checked his heart and it’s “actually very strong.”

So, what did we learn from all of this?  Next time the Hollywood Vampires tour (and we hope there will be a next time), maybe have some rest days scheduled in, and maybe hire someone to make sure Joe Perry eats!
