"April in the D" song contest!
FOX Sports Detroit was looking for a
brand new song for their 2009 April
in the D campaign! April in Detroit
means spring and the start of warmer
weather. It also means the start of
Tigers baseball and beginning
(fingers crossed!) of long playoff
runs for the Red Wings and Pistons.
April also means a full schedule on
FOX Sports Detroit! Virtually every
night in April, Detroit sports fan can
catch a Tigers, Wings or Pistons game on
FOX Sports Detroit, FOX Sports Detroit
Plus, and FOX Sports Detroit HD!
The entries came in,
the judges narrowed them down to the top
3. You were then asked to vote on which
song you thought was the best.

The Good Luck Joes' song
will become FOX Sports Detroit’s April
in the D theme song, which will be used to
promote Tigers, Wings and Pistons games
Throughout the month of April. They will also
receive $5000, a music video and will
get to perform LIVE at the WRIF Tigers
Home Opener party at the Fillmore
Theatre!
