U2 News Round-Up: “The U2 Experience,” Bono on ‘Kimmel’

Lots of U2 news to cover!  It’s almost as if they have a new album coming out on Friday…

…oh, yeah!  They do, and they’re going BIG!

Amazon Music will be hosting “The U2 Experience,” a 24 hour celebration of the band’s history, from their studio work to live performances and even some exclusive interviews.  The experience begins today (November 29) at 6PM EST.

In other U2 News:  Bono appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night as part of the show’s special episode honoring the frontman’s AIDS charity (RED).  Bono appeared during multiple segments (all of which can be seen on the Kimmel YouTube page), but my favorite was his performance of the standard “One For My Baby” which featured Chris Martin and Sean Penn.

Bono and Chris Martin sing a duet of 'One for My Baby' with a surprise cameo from Sean Penn on our special (RED) show to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS. Go to red.org to learn more about how you can help the fight against AIDS.

Oh…and you have the chance to play a round of mini-golf with Bono and The Edge!

Bono Breaks U2 Pact to Never Play Golf for AIDS Fight

Bono and the members of U2 made a pact years ago that they would never play golf, but they are breaking that pact to offer an awesome Omaze experience to benefit (RED) and help the fight against AIDS.
