Eddie Vedder was waiting in the same studio that Chris Cornell was recording 'Hunger Strike' . Eddie was about to audition for a band that would eventually become Pearl Jam. Chris was having trouble singing the low parts of the song. Bravely, Eddie took over and improvised the low part allowing Chris to wail on the high. The result is a stunning duet between two legends.
When Soundgarden and Pearl Jam both appeared on the lineup for the 2014 Bridge School Benefit it meant that, not only would drummer Matt Cameron be pulling double duty, but a Temple of the Dog reunion was practically inevitable.
