  1. The movie Waitress was released in 2007 and followed a…well, waitress in a small town. During the ending the scenes, the toddler who plays Lulu in the film is actually the writer and director’s daughter.

  1. It Could Happen to You follows the story of a police offer that shares his winning lottery ticket with a waitress. The movie is based on a true story that happened between Phyllis Penzo and Officer Robert Cunningham. It Could Happen to You pretty much follows the real life story exactly expect for the part where they share a romance. Both real life people were happily married.

  1. The hilarious movie Waiting was only of Ryan Reynolds first films. If you look closely at the Community College Degree on the manager’s office, you might notice a familiar name. It reads Daniel Christopher Pratt, named after Anna Faris’ husband and Guardian of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt.

Watched 'Waiting...' The first twenty minutes was just a big, confusing mess that was really idiotic. Well, the whole film was pretty stupid. But it definitely well represents the hustle and bustle and stress that comes with working in a restaurant. And it really made me realise just how much waiters rely on tips. The characters were wacky, which made for odd and entertaining interaction. There was a decent storyline happening with Dean (Justin Long) - he was stuck with what to do with his life. He didn't want to stay in this line of work for the rest of his life, he wanted more for himself. And it's a really shitty thing when other people make you feel like an inferior just because they've figured out their life and have a higher-paying job. Everyone goes through life at different paces. It shouldn't be something to judge one another on. Anyway, for me, one of the funnier things about this movie was the running gag of never giving the new guy a chance to speak. And when he cracks at the end...hilarious. All in all, it was a good watch - just nothing memorable - and if I were to take anything away from this movie it would be "don't f*ck with people who handle your food." #movie #review #cinephile #waiting #waitingmovie #ryanreynolds #justinlong #annafaris #luisguzman #johnfrancisdaley #vanessalengies #davidkoechner #kaitlindoubleday #restaurant #waiter #food #comedy
