With the release of its new album One More Light getting closer, Linkin Park has released another new track and lyric video -- an ambient, melodic, mid-tempo song called “Invisible."

It offers yet a different but still decidedly pop mainstream-friendly sound than previous releases from the album -- "Good Goodbye," "Heavy" and "Battle Symphony" -- and will likely continue to polarize reaction among fans, particularly those of Linkin Park's heavier work.
But the group's Mike Shinoda tells us the change has been an honest and organic one:
"As you know, the band, with every album, with every song we're trying to challenge ourselves. We like to try new things. We want to explore new territory with the sounds and the songwriting...Linkin Park fans know every album, you kinda never know what you're gonna get and the style can change dramatically and different elements, different genres that we listen to might sit more in the forefront than others."
One More Light is due out May 19, and Linkin Park starts touring to support it on May 6 at the Maximus Festival in Argentina. The group has shows so far in South America, Europe and Asia, with a North American tour that begins July 27 in Mansfield, Mass.
The group will also perform on ABC's Good Morning America concert series on August 4 in New York City.
