Sick and tired of things like "Red Velvet" or "Peeps" Flavored Oreos? Well, now here's your chance to pitch a new idea.
Oreo is asking social media wizkids to answer the call for this one. From now till July 14, Oreo wants you to Tweet or post an Instagram of your new idea. It can be a photo, video, or simply text, and each idea must have the hashtags #MyOreoCreation and #Contest in the post.
SimpleMost says that Oreo will be selecting 3 finalists and they will win $25,000 and the chance to see their cookie in the stores on May 2018.
The guidelines are as follows:
- Taste Appeal (40 percent) — be delicious and/or evoke a feeling of joy/deliciousness.
- Creativity (30 percent) — be a smart/creative design and have a relevant theme to inspire a 2018 OREO creation.
- Originality (30 percent ) — be unique and evoke a taste, feeling or remind you of an experience that would inspire an OREO cookie creation.
