Nissan Launches The 'Pawfect' Car For Families And Their Pets

You're about to hit the road for a vacation full of family adventures.

You walk out the door with everything- your suitcases, boogie boards, blankets and other necessary traveling items- except for your beloved pet.

Your furry friend peers out the window, eyes drooping, neck lifted followed by a sorrowful howl as if you will never return again.

That's why car manufacturer- Nissan- has recently unveiled the "pawfect" car- the X-Trail 4Dogs with pet-friendly features designed to build families one step at at time.

No more leaving Fido at home!

According to Nissan's Global Newsroom, research shows almost all dog owners consider their pet to be a part of a family.

The X-Trail 4Dogs has built-in systems to keep your dog clean, comfortable and safe.

Keeping them clean: The vehicle comes with a 360-degree pull-out shower to wash your dog off after a long day in the sand along with air jets to dry them off. And don't worry about finagling to get your pet inside the car without a mess- that's what the slide-away ramp is for- to let your dogs walk right up into the cargo space. And it doesn't stop here! The entire backseat compartment has been upholstered in a particular leather to make it easy to clean and remove stray dirt and pet hair.

Keeping them comfortable: It's not only humans who like to enjoy a taste of luxury. Dogs do too. The X-Trail comes up with a cozy bed, no-spill water bowl and smart dog treat dispenser. Now, your dogs can sleep and treat themselves to help pass time.

Keeping them safe: Similar to a seatbelt, the dog will remain in place during transit by wearing a clip-on harness hook. Furthermore, dog owners, you have the ability to keep an eye on your pets with the car's ingenious, dog-cam technology. But, it works both ways. The X-Trail's NissanConnect infotainment system allows the owner and dog to see each other through a 7-inch dashboard display and 10-inch LCD screen installed into the back. An audio link provides a way for you to communicate with your dog to let them know you haven't gone anywhere. Could this be taking it just a little too far?

The car even includes compartments to hold shower and dryer parts, treats, waste bags, leashes and dog toys.
