The past few months have not been kind to Anthony Kiedis, and now the Red Hot Chili Peppers have to postpone three upcoming tour dates.
In a statement on the band’s website, the upcoming shows in Denver, Glendale, Ariz. and San Diego, Calif. have all been postponed, because Kiedis “has been fighting off the bronchitis all week and still needs a few more days to recover.”
The good news is that all three shows have been rescheduled to the following dates:
San Diego, Calif. – March 21
Denver – October 16
Glendale, Ariz. – October 18
This isn’t the only time Kiedis has fallen ill on the band’s current tour. As previously reported, he came down with the flu in December 2016 resulting in two postponed dates in Ireland, and he’s been dealing with a nagging foot injury that keeps him in a walking boot when not performing.
Hopefully, Kiedis will get well soon, and RHCP won’t have to postpone any more shows in the near future.
