Tom DeLonge Named “UFO Researcher of the Year”

Yes…you read that headline correctly.

Tom DeLonge’s interest in UFO and other paranormal activities hasn’t exactly been a secret, but the fact that a “UFO Researcher of the Year” award exists has, and the former Blink-182 frontman is 2017’s big winner of the honor.

The award comes from Open Minds Production, who describe themselves as, “a research-based organization with a mission to investigate and report evidence of extra-terrestrial, UFO, and other phenomena to a global audience.”  They also tout themselves as holding the largest UFO conference in the United States, if you’re the conference-attending type.

So what exactly led to DeLonge receiving this high honor?  His longtime interesting in the matter plays into it, but it’s mostly due to the discovery of the email chain between DeLonge, Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta and Air Force General William Neil McCasland that was discovered thanks to Wikileaks.

DeLonge should really take it upon himself to send Julian Assange a nice gift basket as a “Thank You,” because he’s really the one who helped make this all possible.
