Seether Announce North American Tour Dates

With a new album just announced, Seether has rolled out an extensive North American tour -- and added a member to the lineup, at least for live dates.

With Poison The Parish, the group's seventh album, due out May 12, Seether will hit the road on April 29 at the Monster Energy Fort Rock festival in Fort Meyers, Fla. Dates run through August 20, mixing festivals with smaller clubs and theaters, including two-night stands in Detroit, Baltimore and Lancaster, Pa.

The trio will be joined this time out by "our brother," Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery, "to help us thicken up that live sound experience."

Seether frontman Shaun Morgan added that, "We want this tour to be exciting and different -- a departure from what people would expect from us, while retaining the qualities that make us unique, in order to entertain fans. It's going to be loud, heavy, old school Seether with a couple of twists thrown in to keep things exciting."

Tickets for Seether's own shows start going on sale Friday (March 3).
