The oft-embattled Nickelback has a new fight going on -- with The Terminator.
The Canadian group -- preparing for the June 9 release of its new album, Feed The Machine, and a tour that starts June 23 -- is mixing it up with Arnold Schwarzenegger on Twitter. The former California governor and New Celebrity Apprentice host started it on Valentine's Day when he tweeted, "When Congress is less popular than herpes & Nickelback, how do 97 % of them get re-elected?" accompanied by a video about gerrymandering.

Nickelback quickly fired back, ".@Schwarzenegger big fans. Approval rate this. Batman & Robin. Please leave us out of your future wisdom drops. Danke Shon Herr Governator."

(The tweet references 1997's "Batman and Robin," a box office bomb in which Schwarzenegger played Mr. Freeze.) Schwarzenegger responded, ".@Nickelback That's...Ice cold. I hope we can agree that we need a freeze on gerrymandering, buys. Thanks for the reply."
@Nickelback That's... ice cold. I hope we can agree that we need a freeze on gerrymandering, guys. Thanks for the reply.
Probably not the first time an Austrian and four Canadians have mixed it up over U.S. gerrymandering practices, but it's certainly a rare instance.
