From Iron Maiden to Megadeth, it seems like metal’s finest are getting in on the craft beer game, and Anthrax have decided to join the party.
The thrash icons recently announced that their new 5.5% abv pale ale Wardance will make its debut March 27 in various New York stores, bars and restaurants with an expansion across the United States planned in the future.
The band partnered with New York brewery Butternuts Beer & Ale to make Wardance and were very hands-on with brewery owner Chuck Williamson on the new brew.
As for what fans can expect from Wardance, Scott Ian said in a statement that it was “very drinkable” but still had “flavor,” while Charlie Benante said it “goes really well with a burger.”
Great…now we’re thirsty AND hungry.
