FLASHBACK: Rob Zombie’s First Solo Performance On ‘Letterman’

You don’t see too many rock acts (heaven forbid metal) perform on the late night talk show circuit anymore, so that makes this clip of Rob Zombie’s first solo performance on The Late Show with David Letterman all that more special.

Zombie was on to promote his debut solo album Hellbilly Deluxe and performed the lead single and setlist favorite “Dragula.”

“That’s off their Christmas album,” says Letterman following the performance.  Sure, Letterman was being typically Letterman with that comment, but he was always willing to book a very diverse set of musical acts.  Frankly, it’s missed.
