Royal Blood Posts Mysterious “2017” Tease

We're getting our first indication of what Royal Blood is up to for 2017.

The British duo has posted a 22-second video online showing singer-bassist Mike Kerr tattooing "2017" on someone's arm beneath a large diamond.

The group had posted a photo of itself in a recording studio earlier this year and also contributed a new song, "Where Are You Now?," to the soundtrack of HBO's short-lived music series Vinyl.

Other details about the project are scarce, but Kerr previously told us that coming up with material is no problem for him and drummer Ben Thatcher:

"It's just fun to write with knowing what I'm writing now is gonna be a bit of a way away. There's a real sense of I've got all the time I need, basically, at the moment. I write music anyway 'cause that's what I do for fun. That's what I do."

Royal Blood's self-titled debut album came out during 2014 and featured the hits "Figure It Out" and "Out Of The Black."
