Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has set a July 11 publication date for his fourth book, which will be titled America 51: A Probe Into The Realities that Are Hiding Inside The Greatest Country In The World.
Taylor tells the Guardian that he'll cover "everything from politics to social commentary" and focus on "just how batshit crazy my country is right now."
Taylor reveals to us, meanwhile, that the book isn't finished yet and will likely include his thoughts about the result of this year's U.S. presidential election:
"I'm still putting things here and there in my new book...It's just one of those things, like, the more I read what people say and think, it's like how fucking far off the mark was I on where this country was? And I don't know if that makes me angry at them or angry at myself, but it's certainly a mindfuck...It'll almost be a post-election kind of a vibe."
America 51 follows Taylor's 2014 book, You're Making Me Hate You...
Slipknot will be in Japan this weekend for Knotfest Japan on November 5-6in China.
