Shinedown has released a new video for "How Did You Love," the latest single from the group's fifth studio album, Threat To Survival, featuring the sepia-toned images of the band playing in a warehouse.
In a statement, frontman Brent Smith reveals that, "I was in a very unique place in my life while we were writing the album 'Threat To Survival' and there are very specific, heavy themes throughout it. This song 'How Did You Love' is about understanding and respecting your own mortality. Not in a morbid, negative way, but in a way that inspires you to live each day to its fullest and without regret, especially when it comes to your relationships and your individuality. You need to be at peace and proud when you look back and ask yourself, 'How did you love?'"
Threat To Survival debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 when it came out in September.
Shinedown begins a tour with Five Finger Death Punch on October 10 in Little Rock, Ark.
