U2 has added a second concert date for 2016.
The group will play October 5 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco to benefit the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. The event is being produced by Salesforce.org, the charity arm of Salesforce.com, and tickets will start at $1,000. In addition to the show there will be a cocktail reception as well as an after-party featuring M.C. Hammer and will.i.am.
U2 will play a show later in October in Las Vegas, while the group has said it's planning a full-scale tour for 2017, most likely to accompany its new Songs Of Experience album which it's currently finishing recording.
